THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MOTHER'S CLEAN AND HEALTHY LIFESTYING BEHAVIOR (PHBS) WITH THE INCIDENCE OF DIARRHEA UNDER CHILDREN IN THE WORK AREA OF PUSKESMAS SUMBERSARI, JEMBER DISTRICT

Abstract

Behavior clen and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) greatly affects the occurrence of diarrhea and the diarrhea on children under five possibly causing negative impact specifically the clildren growth process that lead to decrease the life qruality of clildren. The environment and behavior are the of diarrhea. To determine existing realition between hygienic and healthy moter behavior with diarrhea on children under five in puskesmas destrisct sumbersari. The research are using the observation method with the survey analitik with cross sectional design approach. The research conducted in Sumbersari Public Health Center Working Area. The sample are 47 respondent, obtained by using Purposive Sampling. The research variables the hygienic and healthy mothe behavior and the diarrhea ncident on children under five years old. The hygienic and healthy mother behavour obtained with healthy life and health behavior of housewifery questionnaire. The diarrhea incident    data obtained by seeing report in posyandu. The statistical test usng the chi square test. The population of mother with hygienic life and health behavior on bad category 25 (53,19%), good moderate  7 (14,89%), and good 15 (31,91%). Further, the data are analyzed with chi square and the results  is P with the amount 0,000 (p< 0,05) which means the correlation between the  hygienic life and healthy behavior mother  on diarrhea incident  at toddler in Public Health Center working area. It s recommended in this research for mother with diarrhea history of toddler  to always care and responsibility for the hygienic life and healthy behavior so that the diarrhea problem can be prevent.
