FISIOTERAPI PADA KASUS TRIGGER FINGER: TRANSCUTANEOUS ELECTRICAL NERVE STIMULATION DAN HOLD RELAX EXERCISE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LINGKUP GERAK SENDI
Abstract
Trigger finger is a condition where the tendon and tendon sheath become inflamed and swollen, resulting in pressure on the tunnel (flexor sheat) which will cause limited range of motion of the joint and discomfort in the finger area. The range of motion of a joint is the range of motion that a joint can perform, which can be measured using a goniometer. This research aims to increase the range of motion of joints in trigger finger cases. Researchers used quantitative descriptive methods with a case study approach, to determine the effect of providing TENS modalities and hold relax exercise to increase LGS in trigger finger cases. Most research results were obtained at the age of 46 - 55 years, with female gender. The results of providing modalities in the form of TENS and hold relax exercise have been proven to increase the range of joint movement in trigger finger sufferers. These results show an increase of 15° - 20° after being given these modalities.
