Hypertension is a chronic disease that requires long-term and rational treatment to be effective and reduce the risk of complications. This study aims to evaluate the rationality of using hypertension drugs at the Sungai Besar Banjarbaru Community Health Center in 2023 based on six parameters: patient accuracy, indication, drug, dose, method of administration, and frequency of administration. This study used a descriptive method with a retrospective approach to medical record data of hypertensive patients for the period July-December 2023. The results of the analysis of 123 samples showed that patient accuracy, indication, method of administration, and frequency of administration reached 100%, drug accuracy was 91.9%, and dose accuracy was 100%. While the majority of drug use is in accordance with hypertension therapy guidelines, inaccuracies are still found in drug selection and dosage in some patients.
