Abstract

Digital transformation in healthcare facilities necessitates the use of information systems capable of enhancing service quality, operational efficiency, and health data management. Evaluating these systems is essential to identify usage levels and areas requiring further development. This study aimed to evaluate the utilization of a healthcare information system using the PIECES (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service) framework. A descriptive quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. The study sample consisted of 32 healthcare professionals selected via total sampling. Data regarding the information system were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire based on the PIECES framework and analyzed descriptively using frequency distributions and percentages. The results indicated an average utilization score of 81.66%, placing it in the "utilized" category. The Information dimension scored the highest (84.44%), while the Control dimension scored the lowest (75.18%). These findings demonstrate that the information system has supported improvements in information quality, operational efficiency, and healthcare services. However, aspects such as information security, system stability, and access control require strengthening. Therefore, enhancing interoperability, information security governance, and IT infrastructure, alongside improving user competence, is necessary to support the digital transformation of primary healthcare services
